土壤入滲為影響坡地水土流失的重要因子,如坡地土壤入滲大,超滲雨量減少,地表逕流與土壤流失自然隨之減少。本文以冠水型土壤入滲計,於屏東潮州鎮台糖四林與林後農場平地造林與緊鄰果園及草生地的土壤,進行土壤入滲測定。表層土壤平均最終入滲率:造林地(103.7 mm/h)、草生地(56.1 mm/h)、果園地(42.0 mm/h),底層土壤平均最終入滲率:造林地(9.9 mm/h)、草生地(13.3 mm/h)、果園地(6.9 mm/h),土壤最終入滲率由表層土壤朝底層土壤方向減小。造林地表層土壤最終入滲率小於屏東地區50年機率年降雨強度103.8 mm/h,平地造林地每50年會有何頓氏地表逕流,然造林地底層土壤最終入滲率小於每年機率年降雨強度53.2 mm/h,故平地造林地每年發生飽和地表逕流。草生地表層土壤最終入滲率小於每2年機率年降雨強度62.2 mm/h,草生地每2年會有何頓氏地表逕流,果園地表層土壤最終入滲率小於每年機率年降雨強度,果園每年發生何頓氏地表逕流,又果園與草生地底層土壤最終入滲率小於每年機率年降雨強度,故果園與草生地每年發生飽合地表逕流。
Soil infiltration was one of important factors in affecting soil and water losses. If soil infiltration on hillslope was large, the rainfall excess would be small. Then surface runoff and soil loss of slopeland would be also small. This study used pond-type infiltrometer to perform measuring infiltration rates on forest plantation and neighboring orchard and grass land at Shihlin and Linhou farming land of Chaochou area, Pingtung County of southern Taiwan. The final infiltration rates of topsoil at different land uses were as follows: forest plantation (103.7 mm/h), grass land (56.1 mm/h), and orchard (42.0 mm/h). The final infiltration rates of subsoil at different land uses were as follows: forest plantation (9.9 mm/h), grass land (13.3 mm/h), and orchard (6.9 mm/h). Final soil infiltration rates were decreasing from topsoil to subsoil. The final infiltration rate of topsoil at forest plantation was smaller than rainfall intensity (103.8 mm/h) of 50 recurrence years at Pingtung, so no Horton's overland flow happened to forest plantation every 50 recurrence years. However, the final infiltration rate of subsoil at forest plantation was smaller than rainfall intensity (53.2 mm/h) of 1 recurrence year at Pingtung, so saturation overland flow happened to forest plantation every recurrence year. The final infiltration rate of topsoil at grass land was smaller than rainfall intensity (62.2 mm/h) of 2 recurrence years at Pingtung, so Horton's overland flow happened to grass land every 2 recurrence years. The final infiltration rate of topsoil at orchard land was smaller than rainfall intensity of 1 recurrence year at Pingtung, so Horton’s overland flow happened to orchard land every recurrence year. The final infiltration rates of subsoil at orchard and grass land were smaller than rainfall intensity of 1 recurrence year at Pingtung, so saturation overland flow happened to orchard and grass land every year.
