本研究旨在運用跨理論模式瞭解體重過重、肥胖學童的運動階段分佈情形,以及運動階段與模式中其他變項間的關係。採立意取樣,依據行政院衛生署(2002)所定的兒童及青少年肥胖定義標準,由臺北市二所公立國小之1,714名11-13歲學童中,找出353名體重過重及肥胖的學生?研究對象。研究工具包括運動改變階段、運動改變方法、運動自我效能量表、決策權衡量表。以頻率、卡方檢定、單因子多變項變異數分析、單因子變異數分析、Tukey事後比較等統計方法進行分析。結果發現受試者的運動階段以準備期最多(50.7%),無意圖期者最少(7.1%),有68.3%的肥胖學童沒有規律運動習慣。運動改變方法的平均得分?3.14±0.84分(滿分5分),其中得分最高的是情境替代、得分最低的是社會解放。運動自我效能的平均得分?43.10±22.64分(滿分100分)、知覺運動利益的平均得分?3.57±0.54分(滿分4分)、知覺運動障礙的平均得分?2.44±0.66分(滿分4分)。受試者的不同運動階段,在運動改變方法、運動自我效能、知覺運動利益和知覺運動障礙上有顯著差異(Wilk's, Lambda=.637, p<.001),且運動階段愈高階者,其運動改變方法、運動自我效能、知覺運動利益的得分愈高,知覺運動障礙則呈相反的狀況。研究結果支持應用跨理論模式於過重、肥胖學童運動行?的適切性,可作?日後提升過重、肥胖學童規律運動之參考。
Based on the Transtheoretical Model, this study investigates the stages of exercise behavior among overweight and obese children, and assesses relationships among behavioral stages and other constructs. Using the definition of obesity for children and adolescents of the Taiwan Department of Health, Executive Yuan (2002), 353 overweight and obese children out of 1,714 school children from two deliberately selected primary schools, aged 11-13 years old, were selected for participation in this investigation. The instruments included Stage of Exercise Behavior Change Questionnaire, Process of Change Questionnaire, Exercise Self-efficacy Scale, and Decision Balance Scale for Exercise. Data were analyzed using frequency, χ2 tests, one-way MANOVA, one-way ANOVA, and Tukey's Honestly Significant Difference (HSD). The study results are as follows: The majority of the participants were in the preparation stage (50.7%), with only a small minority (7.1%) in the precontemplation stage. About 68.3% did no regular exercise. Furthermore, the mean score for the process of change for exercise was 3.14±0.84 (5 in total), with the highest score being for counter conditioning, while the lowest was for social liberation. Furthermore, the average score for exercise self-efficacy was 43.10±22.64 (100 in total). The average scores for perceived benefits of and barriers to exercise were 3.57±0.54 and 2.44±0.66 (for a total of four), respectively. Participants in different stages differed in scores of the process of change for exercise, exercise self-efficacy, exercise benefits, and exercise barriers (Wilk's Lambda=.637, p<.001). Scores of process of change for exercise, exercise self-efficacy, and exercise benefits increased from the precontemplation through to the maintenance stage. However, the score of perceived barriers to exercise decreased. The results generally supported the validity of TTM for understanding the exercise behavior of obese children. Thus providing useful information for future studies and exercise promotion programs.
