本研究乃取病人血液過濾之濾出液,企圖以活性炭顆粒吸附方法,去除其中之中分子量排泄物質(M.W., 350~2,000 dalton)。分析方法則使用分析飾(Sephadey G15)微量管柱分離技術及外在標準試劑法,以定量中分子物質。實驗中使用兩種活性炭顆粒:一?已商業化之日本Kuraray公司出品之DHP顆粒;另一?自製之Gelatin-Bound SAC(Spherical Activated Carbon),顆粒大小皆在20-40 mesh之狹窄顆粒大小範圍。主要目的在求得中分子物質對活性炭顆粒之等溫平衡吸附曲線。同時,利用批次系統之吸附數據并配合單池單孔吸附質傳模式及參數契合方法,求出尿毒中「中分子物質」對活性炭顆粒內之有效擴散係數。
This study involves the removal of middle molecule substance (M.W., 350~2,000 daltons) from the patient's hemofiltrates by method of adsorption on activated carbon particles. The quantitative analysis of middle molecule substances was by means of micro-column using Sephadex G 15 and the external standard method. Two different kinds of carbon particles were used in the experiment, i.e., the commercialized DHP particles from Kuraray Co. of Japan, and the Gelatin-bound SAC (self made spherical activated carbons), respectively. The particles sizes were in the narrow ranges of 20-40 mesh. The main purpose of the study was to obtain the adsorption isotherms for each of the activated carbon particles. Also, the effective intra-particle diffusion coefficients of each specific system were calculated with the experimental data of adsorption in a batch system operation together with the one-compartmental single-pore model.
